1. Who are the interviewers?

An applicant is free to choose their preferred student/alumnus for interviews. Applicants can sort the student-alumni profiles across 4 main criteria – year of graduation, industry of work, previous rating and cost per interview.

2. How much does an interview cost?

Every student/alumnus can select the rate they would like to charge per interview from a predefined range. For students-alumni of Indian B schools this range is Rs. 4000 to Rs. 8000 For students-alumni of international B schools this range is USD 75 to USD 200

3. How does the interview happen?

We share the contact details of the student with the applicant and vice versa. The student/alumnus and applicant can mutually agree on a convenient time and medium for the interview. We recommend a skype video call.

4. What do I need to prepare for the interview?

Applicants are requested to consider this mock interview equal to the final MBA interview and prepare for it accordingly.

5. Can I cancel my interview? What are the refund policies?

MBA Sage will hold the interview amount till the interview has been conducted. The applicant can cancel the interview at any time prior to the scheduled time and date. In case the interview is cancelled, either by the applicant or the interviewer, the amount will be transferred back to the applicant within 3 working days.

6. How can I change the scheduled time of my interview?

If you’re an applicant: Contact your interviewer over email to agree on a mutually convenient time.
If you’re a student: Use the ‘Reschedule’ option to change the preferred date and time of the interview. Make sure the scheduled time reflects the actual time of the interview because your payment will be made accordingly

7. How much time does it take to get feedback from an interviewer?

Interviewers are required to provide feedback within 48 hours of conducting the interview, otherwise the amount is refunded to the applicant.

8. What are my deliverables as an interviewer (student/alumnus)?

Students are expected to spend at least 60 minutes taking the interview and providing feedback. Additionally, they are required to complete the performance report and give feedback to the applicant on the website. Note: Money is transferred to the student-alumni after the feedback has been provided to the applicant on the website.

9. How much do I get paid as a student/alumnus?

Students/alumni can select the rate they would like to charge per interview from a predefined range. For students-alumni of Indian B schools this range is Rs. 4000 to Rs. 8000 For students-alumni of international B schools this range is USD 75 to USD 200. We charge a 20% service fee on every transaction out of which half is donated for the education of girls in India. The bank charges a transaction cost and depending on your country, the government might charge tax as well. All students-alumni from Indian B Schools will receive payments directly to their bank accounts. All students-alumni from international B Schools will receive payments through their paypal account.

10. How much time does it take for a student/alumnus to receive payment?

A student/alumnus can expect a payment to their bank account/PayPal account within 72 hours of completing a mock interview and feedback report.

11. My interviewer/applicant didn’t turn up for the interview. What do I do?

Most probably the interviewer/applicant got busy with something unexpectedly. Please contact the interviewer/applicant for an update at their email address. If you don’t get a response within 6 hours, please contact us at mymbasage@gmail.com
Don’t worry, we will refund the money back to your bank account.
